The Visionary Nurse® approach is focused on inspiring, elevating and enhancing a healthy vision in the lives of others. Nursing, traditionally speaking, has often been equated to managing the health of the physical body, but to be a visionary nurse® is to be an agent of change that transforms the sphere of influence of all those around that person. Health, in its broadest sense, constitutes the whole person, and may encompasses financial health, spiritual health, mental health, community health, relational health, and everything in between. To be a visionary nurse®, is to be someone who strategically and intentionally sees health from a whole person perspective and influences sustainable and effective change for life.
